Enjoyed a night out at the Jam House we ate on the balcony and were able to stay there whilst the band played so had a great view. The food was good and our waitress was lovely, she broke the rules to get us beer from downstairs as not served upstairs which seemed a bit odd! The house band were... More

A great night at the Jam House watching Soul Funk Family. Amazing musicians who performed a super set. This is always a great event and I will look to see this super group again

This is one of if not the best live music venues I have visited. From the door men, the bar staff and the amazing music I cannot recommend it enough. It does get extremely busy but you have to expect that. You can park close by and there is a hotel within two minutes walk. The music I see amazing,... More

Visited The Jam House last night, was enjoying the band which we had paid to get in to see and the bouncers made a bee line for me and removed me from the club. I hadn't done anything and was just dancing with friends, when I asked for an explanation they said I was too drunk. Yes I had been... More

For the price - drinks are of a pretty poor quality - with g&ts and cocktails served in a generic half pint glass. Music is very average - if you've seen a decent house band before then these guys come across as very average. Aggressive bouncers - avoid if you've got an alternative.

Excellent live music venue, lots of nights with free admission, really busy but not too packed and the drinks were really reasonably priced. Definitely recommend!

3rd visit here, and it just gets better. What we really like is that the musicians are always spot on - very talented, and have a great rapport with the audience. It was a great atmosphere, with a good Saturday evening crowd in. It also feels 'safe', with watchful security staff.

Have always had a fabulous night of music and dancing when we have gone here and our recent visit was no exception. I have always noticed that staff and security were very good however this was fully proven when my husband suffered an attack of tourettes - a condition he as recently developed. The staff were brilliant, providing him with... More

The inside is great, but if you expect a friendly face on the way in, don't come here. The baldish bouncer that finally let us in after making us feel like he'd scraped us off his boot, had an impression that he'd either been there too long, or has a lot going on personally that he needs to deal with.

The whole place was jumping and pumping from 25-65 year olds. Great place for live music and sensible drinks prices.....x2 doubles with mixers £12
