We were really excited to come to the thinktank but were disappointed when we arrived. A lot of the interactive attractions were broken and the whole place looked run down. In need of a face lift and updating.

Good day out for all the family. We visited in half term and would advise getting there early as it got quite busy as the day progressed. Plenty of interactive activities for children of all ages. My child in particular enjoyed the outside science park and the city life exhibition. If you are interested in stars then the extra payment... More

We loved the Think Tank. It's very interactive and kept our 3, 9 and 32 year old entertained and we learnt lots! Our only gripe was the the planetarium show 'Little Star' was not scientifically accurate. Apparently Pluto and Solaris are planets, but we think not!

We spent most of the day here with our two boys. There was something for everyone. The children loved the vehicles and machines as well as the interactive activities. The human biology, outside features and planetarium were all great fun and we all learnt something new! I really loved the mechanical Things exhibition and seeing the chitty chitty bang bang... A really great museum. Kids section is best I have ever seen in a museum. A real must see and we will be going back.

Fantastic place, lots to do and see, some of the interactions didnt work but we still had a fantastic day. Outside area is amazing and well worth a wonder outside, you can take your own lunch too. The restaurant food is good value. We had a fantastic time and will visit again.

Think tank is absolutely fantastic. We visited with our 1,3and 6year olds and each of them were in their element. We visited after 3pmwhen its £3pp (younger 2 were free) there's definitely something for everyone. Highly recommend. Great fun!

Scout trip with 30 children: The majority of this museum is interactive so the children can get stuck right in and get hands on. There are so many different things throughout the whole place which is split into different levels. The favourite place to play was in the water garden which we left until last and the kids didn't want... More

Visit with two of our grandchildren yesterday, and all in all we had a very interesting and enjoyable time. Let's get the negative out of the way first...The second floor children’s activity area is awful now. In fact my overriding thought as I am walking around with two kids from Berkshire was 'The main thing this is teaching these kids... More

Excellent museum lots to do for the children, lots to see and the planetarium was informative and fun. Hands on exhibits for the children kept them entertained but wee also educational. As part of the museum there are interactive kinetic art and exhibits from the MAD Museum (Mechanical Art and Design) . This shows Quirky machines from other artists as... More
