Great tour. Informative guide (John) did an excellent job telling us about the life of the back-to-backs. Small group of 11 made it very personable. Incredible work by the National Trust to bring these houses back into the good condition they are today. Must call...More

Had a very happy experience of this place. I have visited three times now. Jean gave us a funny comprehensive enjoyable tour and all the people there were very welcoming. Thanks again.

A great afternoon at the Back to Back Houses with our guide Jean Shephard who was able to easily convey the social history of the houses! It’s great to see the National Trust conserving this type of urban social history!

The obligatory guided tour takes 90 minutes or so and is well worth every moment. This is a wonderful encapsulation of the social history of Birmingham. Our guide Theresa was fantastic.

I had a wonderful guide last Sunday. It was very interesting to hear the stories of the backs-to-backs and the families that lived inside these homes. But as a NT member, I am doubting more and more the value of my membership when one can’t...More
