Unfortunately the Peeping Tom which overlooks the statue is out of order. He should come out hourly for a sneaky look. He is the favourite for all the kids so the council need to get it repaired

The statue is in the midst of the hustle and bustle of it all. While you can argue over the veracity of its myth, it's a great marker and meeting point.

I remember this statue when it was the centre of Broadgate. Then, of course it was on a traffic island but it still had some presence. Now it lags the dignity of old. It's still a beautiful interpretation of the Leofric legend.

Set in the middle of Broadgate this imposing statue is an iconic image of Coventry.Peeping Tom comes out to ogle on the hour.
