Extremely good place to sit (...if you can find a place to sit. Come on Coventry Council - put some stone benches in the square!) while you gather the determination to do Primark or M&S or Wagamumma - whatever your style - or simply take...More

The two concepts that come into your mind when you think about Coventry is Lady Codiiva and Being Sent to Coventry. The Lady Codina statute stands proudly in a square outside a shopping arcade in the town centre.. It is nice enough ,very noticeable but...More

Nothing much really. Just a statue in the middle of the square. A perfect place for rendezvous or just hanging about.

We visited the statue and surrounds to delve into Coventry's history. The statue is placed in the middle of a town center which is nice and is surrounded by a flower bed. There are coffee shops located nearby and a couple of restaurants too.

You can't really go to Coventry and not see this so we did. Easily found in the City Centre. Lots of visitors about enjoying taking their photo alongside this historic statue.

The statue is in the city centre of Coventry, close to the peeping Tom clock and you can visit both at the same time. Lady Godiva is large statue and an icon in Coventry, Free to see and surrounded by eating establishments and shops.

I grew up loving this statue. Not because Godiva is naked, but because it symbolizes Coventry! My son was 5 when we emigrated so it was great being home after 10 years and seeing her in another location!

How can you go to Coventry and not see the statue of Lady Godiva. I had friend visit from Ireland who did not know the story or history. Made for nice holiday pictures!!
