For a country park, there isn't really much to see. No great features to see except some geese in a pond. Wouldn't really send more than an hour there and the parking is too expensive.

Today we went for a walk at the park my husband tripped and cut his finger on a nail. It was pouring with blood and we were horrified to find out there is no first aid point!!! Can’t believe it with so many people around...More

What a disappointment! The notice that is on the entrance to the car park today suggests wellingtons are advisable. Having parked, 3 families discovered the restaurant was not open, and the van had no chairs out, even under the cover of the Visitor Centre. The...More

This is a great way to spend a few hours in the fresh air. Even on a damp, grey day it's a joy to wander around and just be at one with nature. loved it!

Sorry, no overnight camping /caravaning. Suggest the nearest sites are in Wolvey I hope this helps.

I believe all rooms have irons (the 3 x I've stayed there they have) if your room didn't they'd get you one. fab hotel.
