Often this museum is tagged onto the tail end of a visit to the cathedral. It deserves much more. Full of excellent local social history and artifacts. We will certalinly give it more time next tiem

We went in to kill some time, was actually the highlight of my day. It was bigger than I expected looking at it from outside. There was plenty of interesting things to see, certainly enough to entertain kids for a few hours.

Go...so much to see. Great for kids. Very hands on. The baby sensory area vvv good. Loved shoeing the horse in the viking bit.

With the gallery on our left, we took the second right turn and at the end of that road is an open air car park. 5 - 6 minutes walk back to the gallery.
