Huge church in the city centre which in itself is an impressive building dwarfed by the cathedrals. During a heritage weekend I had read about the doom painting and went in to specifically see this. It wasn’t easy to find so I asked a guide...More

SO worth a visit, for the stained glass alone. Beautiful building, architecture and artwork and it's free. Quite different to the cathedral but equally atmospheric.

On visiting the contemporary cathedral we were walking back towards the centre as there are a lot of churches. Well worth a stop

The highlight of the church is the “Coventry Doom”, a medieval painting created in the 1430’s above the tower arch, and said to be one of the most important discoveries in medieval art. It depicts the last judgement, with the consequences of charitable and uncharitable...More

School trips or days out need to include this church as part of any visit to Coventry. Beautiful church , open to the public to be enjoyed.

Although in the shadow of the old cathedral spire, this is still a large 'town church' - here are the town memorials in glass, floor slabs, wall monuments, and the misericord seats' woodwork. Astoundingly undamaged in 1940 compared with the losses all around. Publications available.

It was a bit of a quick visit here as we were part of a tour group but I did enjoy what I saw. There is interesting decoration to the ceiling and the doom painting, which could easily be missed, was also good.

Often not visited by tourists due to its proximity to the Cathedral. It is well worth a visit and there was a lovely lunch time concert on the day I visited.
