Always good to see & hear Jools and his Orchestra, especially at the more intimate venue of Butterworth Hall. Ignoring other peoples reviews, I thought that Marc Almond was very good and entertaining.

Another great visit to the art centre this time to see the one women show Fleabag. Brlliantly performed in the Goose Nest theatre. Great venue although due to current refurbishment if you want a draft near you have to go outside to an external bar....More

Hilarious as usual from start to finish. Also very talented magician/comedian began the night. Lovely venue. Excellent seating arrangement. Never been before, and so close to home. Will definitely be going again ☺️

Visited here this week to see Gary Numan in the Butterworth Hall. Really nice comfortably laid out hall. And the rest of the facilities were good too. Clearly there are some development works going on too which will make it even better. Nice to use...More

Came along to see Steven Wilson. Impressed with the layout. Not a bad seat in the house. Holds about 1500 so was not overcrowded. If you want a bite to eat (basic pub grub) try the Drunken Duck over the road. Obviously full of students...More

Good. All of the balcony seats are good - it's such a relatively small venue.
