I've been aware of the museum for a year or two, and finally had the opportunity to visit this week. Really glad I did. It's an original set of cottages owned by a small group of locals with practically no supporting funding. They are passionate...More

You don't need to be a watch enthusiast to enjoy the museum - just an inquisitive mind. Although the museum is very small, there is quite a lot to see

This museum forcusses on watches and clocks but the collection on display includes a material which presents life from bygone (mostly Victorian) times. As such its interest extends much wider than watchmaking. The collection is mostly informal but there is adequate interpretation

Enjoyable little museum full of history. Enjoyed looking at the history of clocks how they were made, the use of the buildings though time.

A little museum run by volunteers entirely on donations, and what they have done is very well presented. Gathering Coventry watches, clocks and tools from whatever source they can, they are creating a reminder of the times Coventry was a watch maker to the world....More

The exhibits and attentive guides provide an amazing glimpse into city's once world famous watching industrial heritage. A heritage that was preceded by medieval weavers...More

A proper museum with friendly volunteers and lots to see and explore - a change from overly interactive museums where children do lots but learn little - my 11 year old was fascinated by this special little museum with its interesting variety of collections.

Stumbled across this museum that is bigger than it initially appears. Very friendly nice volunteer staff. We were given a personal tour around the three cottages and the outbuildings in the rear. Very interesting watch and clock collection with the opportunity to touch and learn...More

I was a bit sniffy when the idea was mooted to visit the Watch Museum as it's not really my thing. But to maintain familial harmony I feigned enthusiasm. How wrong I'd been - I thoroughly enjoyed myself. It's not somewhere you go and fill...More
