I called in at the Midland Air Museum since I was a little early for my visit to Flight Simulators Midlands, and thought it would pass a little time. It certainly that, and much more. It is clearly a tiny operation, and the £7 entry fee is really a donation to help with the upkeep. It can be gift aided.... More

I am Not an enthusiast myself but my boyfriend is. Reasonable £7 to get in, and plenty to see. A lot bigger than you first think. Definitely a must go for fans of jet planes.

Small but interesting Museum to visit for all ages , plenty of exhibits , but as most are outside the British weather has took its toll on many of the aircrafts paint schemes. The staff were very friendly and helpful , this is a must visit if you like aircraft museums as I do. Lots to do for kids and... More

Visited today (02/06/16) having never been before. £7 entry fee which includes gift aid. Once inside first port of call is the history of Sir Frank Whittle and his jet engine with loads to see. There are a few aircraft and hundreds if not thousands of models and information in the main 'hangar' including the oldest Gloster Meteor and some... More

Took our granddaughter and not sure if it would occupy her but it did. We visited here many years ago and am glad we returned. A lot more on display and some planes could be entered as well as sat in. Well looked after and lots of good information. A lot of the exhibits are outside however we had a... More

My partner and I chanced across Midland Air Museum, as I was due for simulator training at Flight Simulators Midlands (FSM) that morning. We decided to visit the museum prior to my training and were highly impressed at the interesting array of exhibits in the building, and the deceptively large grounds at the rear of the building - full of... This is a great museum, lots of very interesting exhibits and a nice area dedicated to Sir Frank Whittle. Outside there are loads and I mean loads of static aircraft on display, a good assortment from fighter jets to transport planes. Our highlight was a tour of the Vulcan Bomber, we were able to climb into the cockpit and sit... More

My brother and I visited the museum to take out our grandfather for an afternoon. There is ample parking and the location is ideal as it is close to the airport and directly off the a45. The admission price for 3 of us was around £18 which was very reasonable. There is a well stocked shop featuring model kits and... More
