Well preserved mosaics and an interesting museum charting the roman period and the discoveries made at the site. Walkways make excellent viewing platforms for the mosaics.

Fishbourne Roman Palace is fairly nondescript from the outside. However, once inside this changes. There is a wealth of roman finds dating backing to 1st century AD. Our guide, Brian was informative and enthusiastic about the Palace. I was able to see artefacts up close....More

The activities put on here for children in half terms and holidays are excellent. If activities not on then make sure you buy a guide book to explain the whole layout.

One of the most well preserved and historically recorded sites. The main preserved area has a purpose-built building which also includes the gift shop/entrance to the site. You can continue the excursion from inside (where the mosaics are) to see remnants of the palace outside....More

We actually were looking forward to this and like all things historic but how boring and out of date was the museum. A tour would have made it more interesting I imagine but the next tour when we arrived was 2 hours away. We managed...More

An interesting visit to this Roman Palace. Some very well preserved floor mosaics, and a separate building with a huge variety of artefacts. Stuart the guide was first rate.

We had a great time, loved the diversity of the displays, fascinated by the layout and particularly the mosaics, the Guide himself was humorous, informative, interacted well with all visitors and totally respectful when answering questions, no question was deemed a daft one

Me & a few friends will be meeting up at your cafe before cycling to West Wittering & back. Will we be able to leave our cars in your car park while we are cycling ? I don't expect it to be more than 5 cars.

Firstly, apologies for the delay in replying, but I am unable to help you as I don't know the names of the staff employed at Fishbourne. Maybe you could contact them direct? Google shows their number as: 01243 785859.
