Took the grandchildren here and was pleasantly surprised. My granddaughter was interested when I explained things, but being eight her concentration waned but we found other things to look at. She, and I liked the old bedroom chambers. My little grandson liked it all too....More

This is one of the best places to visit if your into haunted locations, with plenty of activity and not for the faint hearted

Was surprised by the artefacts ranging from the Wars of the Roses to Cromwell's death mask on display. A rich history including some grisly murders and ghost stories well told by David. The trails for children were interesting as well.

Amazing old house with parts dating back to the 1300s. Beautiful furniture, suits of armour, paintings and a video of old Bradford.Well worth a visit for history fans

Steeped in history, very informative and a chance for younger children to dress up etc. Nice park across the road for younger children to finish the day off.

What a gorgeous old house and the 'mask' cast taken from Cromwell's face lets you see the man himself. The building creaks and has a real ghostly feel to it. En suite toilets in a couple of bedrooms too 💩😂 And it's free!

Bolling Hall is off the tourist trail, but for a free museum it's really great. The original house dates back to 1370. Then there's the Tudor part of the house and a substantial Georgian wing too. The Hall is central to the civil war history...More

This is a fantastic place. look at the stained glass window with all the coats of arms on it shows how the powerfull Yorkshire families are connected. There is also a haunted room. This is a must for local history buffs.
