i went to the keighley bus museum and had a great afternoon/evening last sunday for a nocturnal running day. it was a great atmosphere with the clocks having gone back that day, to see working buses from the sixties to the eighties in service, all lit up, bringing back childhood memories of as they were. as opposed to only seeing... A very good collection of buses some in running order, some awaiting restoration. This is only open on special days, usually announced. We went to the October 2015 running day. The building is very basic inside and set out more like a store but it isn't a regular display. The collection has some rare vehicles such as the last Bradford... More

I found this very interesting, seeing all the old buses I used to drive and some even older, going back to the early 1900's

Simply bus heaven for bus enthusiasts alike. I absolutely loved it when I came here for my birthday. It was very quiet, me and my friend had the whole museum to ourselves! (including the mechanics of course). There is a very interesting array of buses that date from 1930s' up to the 1990s'. In this little collection of awesomeness, is... More

Thoroughly enjoyed the open day on June 8th. Well worth the £3 entry fee. So many interesting vehicles lie within and within reason you could just wander around (just avoiding the small number of cordoned off parts). Two nice bus routes running around Keighley as well. Great staff, utter credit to the organisation.

This hidden gem of a museum is located in a former foundry building on “Riverside” which is accessed from Dalton Road, Keighley (behind Dalton Mills) and is a 5 – 10 minute walk from Keighley Railway Station. Using the postcode BD21 4JP in your satnav should get you within sight of their yard where there is parking. Having emailed the... More
