We visited this textile muserum 25 years ago and can attest it is still as captivating as it was then or even more so. Do take a docent tour and read the posters on the walls about the people who worked there.

A very interesting museum with plenty to see. Read & learned a lot about life working & the conditions at the mills. Saw a lot of the machinery. Plenty of hands on activity too

I was really impressed. It is a great place to learn about Leeds' industrial heritage. The staff are welcoming and informative. Not too expensive either. Well worth a visit.

Came here with the boy. Lots of interesting displays and machinery to to look at. The staff are friendly and Barry the loom guy is entertaining worth a visit.

I find this place & Leeds council started charging more and more for residents/ visitors visiting various places of interest & old historic sites. Additionally, the museum is literally 2min walk from a local council area with thousands of ruff & long term benefit seekers....More

Yeah you can walk it from train station and yes you can access it from tow path
