Always find the light a bit confusing. The shops are o k but I never seem to buy anything to be honest tend to use this centre as a cut through. A lot of eating places with an open plan feel. Looks nice at Christmas when trimmed up.

Starbucks was noisey, dirty ( particularly the toilet for the disabled was filthy and needed cleaning and decorating) and inhospitable. We called for coffee on the way to an appointment in Leeds- will endeavour never to enter Starbucks again if they are all like this,

This arcade is predominantly just for cinema goers who want refreshments before or after their film.

The Vue cinema in The Light centre is our preferred movie theatre. We always book VIP seats which are more spacious and comfortable and this gives Vue an edge over others. The costs of the refreshments in the cinema is ridiculous, but as there are plenty of options in the centre and nearby shops if you want to get sweets... More

Good spot to get out of torrential rain during an evening in the city centre. There is a range of spots to eat and drink and on this first visit it was a visit to Frankie and Bennys. Pleasant venue. Spacious light and airy.

Having paid the extra to visit the Everyman cinema last time, we were really impressed with the quality of this cinema. The seats were really comfortable and gave you lots of room. The sound and picture quality were also the best we have experienced. Definitely better value for money than The Everyman. For those people wondering why you have to... More

Why doesn't the vue cinema have a separate tripadvisor entry from the shopping centre it's located in? First trip to the cinema in ages and I won't be in a hurry to go back. Once you purchase your tickets and go through the barrier check, there's nowhere to sit while you are waiting - I'm sure there used to be... More
