So, for a city to officially to be a city it has to have a cathedral. It is in the city center but this city has not preserved its inherent magnificence, as a cathedral, as it is squashed between other buildings and is eclipsed by The Light shopping center car park on one side. it is beautiful, relative to many... I saw this beautiful church and it took me a while to realise it was a cathedral, it is certainly not especially big but what it lacks in size it makes up for in beauty.

Though not as historical or as large in size compare to so many other Beautiful Cathedrals and Abbeys we've seen through out England, still this was majestically beautiful! Beautiful marble sculptures and marble details on the walls. Leeds has allot to offer in churches, shops, tea rooms, Tapas restaurants, and great beautiful Historical buildings! My sisters and I really enjoyed... More

Very beautiful cathedral. I spent some time exploring and admiring the exquisite marble sculptures . Not all that big and it won't take long to have a walk around. Peaceful and relaxing. Well worth a look.

Built in 1904 in the Arts and Crafts style the Catholic Cathedral was restored sympathetically in 2006. The jury is still out when considering the sanctuary where the bishop's throne seems to be the focal point. The newly restored Pugin altar in the Lady Chapel is excellent.

Spent half an hour walking around this beautiful building and lighting some candles in memory of lost loved ones. It is only small and less grand than other cathedrals I have visited but it was still a great place and so peaceful.

I worked in Leeds for many years and drive past the cathedral daily, I've finally called in to take a look inside and I'm glad I did. The architecture is very nice and it is a beautiful building. Compared to other cathedrals it is quite small but it is a nice place to visit - unless you're going in more... More

I've always been intrigued by the Cathedral as I felt that Leeds is poorly represented by the building. Last night I took the opportunity to have a look inside because it was hosting an installation for the Leeds Lights event. It's a nice building but not much different from a large parish church e.g. Leeds Minster and Darlington's St Cuthberts.... More

I come to this cathedral every time I visit Leeds. It's a beautiful building and it has that very recognised 'incense' aroma which I always associate with church. I like to light a candle or 2 or 3 to remember people close in my thoughts
