The tourist office is located on Fish Row and there is also a Butcher shop as well! Fish Row is a very short road and is easy to confuse with other roads. Ask in the tourist office as very helpful.

A large proportion of the photos posted for Fish Row are NOT taken on Fish Row but on Butcher Row. This is understandable - as Fish Row runs into Butcher Row - but it's wrong and misleading. Fish Row is short - just the distance...More

Just to clarify , "Fish Row" starts at Queen Street and only runs to Butcher Row . It is only the length of the back of the Guildhall , about 50 yards. All being, it is still a lovely spot in the summer, out of...More

We were directed to this historic part of Salisbury after parking in nearby Brown Street.Although quite pretty in certain places and home to plenty of independent shops,it also had to be one of the grubbiest areas we have walked anywhere this year. One particular restaurant had...More

A very important place in Salisbury, especially if you are visitor, it has the office that gives you all the info about where to go and what to do. But the street itself is so full of history, ignore all the modern shops and imagine...More

Fish Row is part of the old market area of Salisbury with all the old buildings remaining. Lots of history to see and visit.

A great wee area of central Salisbury for walking and exploring. A small area, but packed with history of this fascinating town.

When visiting Salisbury it is worth visiting this area of the city as it is historic, the architecture is interesting, the street cobbled and the shops and restaurants independent and different. This street leads to other similar roads which are equally interesting and are within...More

Once this was a lovely cobbled street but is now spoilt by too many advertising A boards and the uneven cobbles. Butchers Row which leads onto Fish Row is no better with rubbish bins outside restaurants and bars, all very off putting for visitors to...More

Happened upon this street while walking around Salisbury. There were several shops, restaurants, and places to sit outside. It had a very relaxing vibe to it. It would be a great place to have a drink and people watch.
