Forget those fake gothic 1930s jobs, this is a genuine medieval baronial hall, converted in Victorian times to a theatre, and more recently a cinema. As you walk through the foyer, the ceiling is incredible, and there's stained glass and ancient fireplaces too. I went...More

Unusual location for a cinema in a medieval building! Tapestries and chandelier in the biggest screen and medieval fireplace etc in foyer. You will never visit a cinema quite like it and it adds a bit of a special atmosphere. Take time to look at...More

We visited the cinema to watch a 'live' transmission from the Covent Garden Royal Opera House in Screen 1. Whilst the seats were extremely comfortable, we seemed to be a long way away from a very small screen and next time we will book seats...More

I went there to see rogue one and the lady who sold the tickets advised me a great seat and the film was shown in a spectacular room it seems to be in a 1800 theatre and I almost expected a lady to sing opera!

Lovely old fashioned cinema which adds to the enjoyment of the evening by setting the atmosphere. Smaller screening so more cozy with comfortable seating not too small. Helpful, friendly staff.

Went to see Scully. I personally find the food and drinks expensive (almost £2 for a bottle of water). We ordered the Nachos with all the trimmings and it was huge - next time we'll be a sharing one rather than one each. The cinema...More
