We have been here a number of times and it is always amazing to me. It's a beautiful medieval cathedral with really interesting history. I am always impressed to see these places survive hundreds of years and all of the beautiful architecture.

The cathedral is amazing - inside and out. Loads of history, interesting features and beautiful architecture. Even a short visit is worthwhile though longer options can combine with a tour or a visit to the cafe. Definitely one of the top cathedrals in England.

Breathtaking architecture and beautiful grounds. I worshiped the Sunday morning and then toured the Cathedral in the afternoon. It was an absolutely memorable experience.

I'm not completely certain I understand your question, but the first priority when visiting Salisbury is the cathedral. If you're not afraid of heights, take the tower tour. If you have time, within a short walk of the... More
