The close gives a variety of interest for visitors. The Cathedral is worth a visit especially to the (free entry) Cloisters. The National Trust's Mompesson House is really worth a visit - it has a superb china collection and gives a real flavour of the...More

Stunning area with beautiful old houses, mainly traffic free & very tranquil. Lovely place to stroll through by the cathedral.

Great picnic place. Beautiful grass, trees and buildings around. If the weather is good, go there and have some fun.

The Salisbury Close is one of those old, quirky places to visit. The Close is closed at night (hence the name!). All of the buildings reek of history.
