I went to Salisbury for the day from London and booked this bus tour in advance. Bus stop is right outside station (turn left as you leave the doors) so perfect location if you’re coming by train. It’s a shame the tour only runs hourly...More

I and my English friend arrived at the site late afternoon. There was a fence around stones, so we could not enter the circle. Yet, I felt a very powerful energy coming from the stones. At one point, I saw greyish smoke coming from them....More

The local bus company deliberately monopolizes the route and sells it as a tour, carefully rerouting any of the area buses away from the site. The timing is poor, as the first leaves well after the site opens and hourly thereafter, so you're either a...More

Drove from London to Salisbury and took the Stonehenge tour- we took the full package which includes Stonehenge, old sacum and the Salisbury cathedral. Now Stonehenge is very impressive to see..i really enjoyed it..the exhibition shop, café, everything was very pleasant...we spent about 2 hours...More

We took the bus trip out to Stonehenge. They supplied ear pieces for narrating along the way. As well you could get off at a few stops along the way back from Stonehenge. The bus arrived back at Stonehenge aprox every half hour allowing plenty...More

Just google maps salisbury to Stonehenge, then select bus. You may have to select train then options, then bus.
