Just visited with our 4yr old daughter, she absolutely loved the cockpits, being able to climb in and touch the controls, headphones etc. Also loved wearing the flight helmet and now has her own flight suit! It’s a really good interactive museum.

Very passionate staff who care about what they do, I would really recommend you have a look around you can sit in the aircraft and they have signs with plenty of information. They work very hard there to maintain history.

Being able to climb inside historic aircraft, fly in simulators, try on uniforms and helmets brings the aircraft to life. Guides were passionate and incredibly knowledgeable whilst also being friendly and approachable. Excellent place to visit.

Visiting this amazing collection of aircraft was made all the more pleasurable because of the fantastic staff (or should I say volunteers) who go above and beyond the call of duty. A wonderful dementia friendly place.

Fantastic venue for corporate events with an Air theme. My company turned it into a film location for a team-building video-shoot for an afternoon - so much fun! Dedicated conference room for the whole day with full AV facilities. We were really well looked after,...More

Yes you can, there is a grass area beside the Comet where you can sit eat and enjoy watching the aircraft operating off the airfield. We do not allow eating or drinking in the hangar.
