Castle is in great condition, as our great queen resides there so bound to be pristine! It's kept in brilliant state. Dolls house is awesome and unlike a lot of castles ; at least you can look round a fair amount of rooms and the chapel is great. I saw loads of gift shops but amazingly no cafes ! We... More

We enjoyed learning a little about the history of England through our visit to Windsor Castle. The inside was impressive and the audio guide provided interesting information pertaining to the history of specific rooms and people. I only wish that we could have explored the grounds themselves a bit more.

We went having never been before . The staterooms are really something to see. I am not sure what you would see when the state rooms are closed to visitors . We managed to whitness the changing of the guard which was worth seeing . Very disappointing was they did not accept any defence discount or reward for forces cards.... More

For those of you who thinks buying a London Pass for a short period and run a few places quickly, you need to do some time management. Not sure why the systems ain't connected, but the logic of London Pass is simply you bring your QR code (I bought it from the App) to the front desk, then get a... More

Born in Berkshire I have visited the Castle many times, there is always more to see, it is an amazing Castle, very Grand and so many beautiful things to see, the dolls collection is absolutely stunning and worth visiting again and again, the rooms are so beautiful and you can feel the Royal Presence all around, the views from the... A great day out for the family, adults and teens alike enjoyed it. Train from Waterloo or Clapham Junction directly to Windsor/Eaton station within 45 mn for about £10 return off peak after 9h30 am , cheapest from Clapham Junction to avoid travelling in Zone 1. The castle is huge and impressive on the hill. Tickets are better purchased online... More

A beautiful castle with so much to see. The audio guides are a great idea and gave loads of info. Our 13 and 9 year olds loved them. There's no refreshment areas though so you will need to take you're own snacks. The staff were helpful and friendly. One lady in particular was wonderful while my daughter who has Type... More

Took my Italian relatives to the castle followed by brief walk around the old town. They enjoyed the changing of the guard as we walked up the hill from river street owards the castle. Once we entered the castle, a mobile Italian audio guide helped them fully appreciate the history and the stories that sit behind the numerous paintings and... More
