Watching the changing of the guards, walking in history of old, visiting state rooms and pleasant shopping in the gift shops was a wonderful afternoon out.

Best place I visited in the London area. Highly recommend. However, train out from London is very expensive.

This is included in the London pass. The train to this castle is included as well. The changing of the guard and the royal apartments were very nice. I really enjoyed the multiple Christmas trees that were displayed so well throughout the tour.

Best to go in the winter season though it is busy at all times. The rebuilt part (after the fire of 1992) shows real craftsmanship. The old part, well its amazing.

Windsor Castle is a must visit for all castle and London lovers! Is quite easy to walk all over castle facilities, but only if you choose a morning walk.

Not sure about special displays but avoid a Sunday because you can't go in the chapel and that's where you'll see where the past monarchs are laid to rest. Yes you can walk the grounds which is brilliant, be prepared for... More
