Combined with a trip to The Infirmary this is a superb gem. So interesting and informative. It was really quiet when we went which gave us time to really study and read everything on offer. Don't miss this small wonder.

My foreign student was keen to visit as she hopes to follow her dreams and become a doctor...... She enjoyed her visit and found it educational, interesting and informative... There could be more hands on exhibits!

Look in on the way home a holiday to see this very interesting museum. You need to drive a long way through the hospital complex to get to the free carpark & then meeting the very helpful receptionist. Although set partly in a main corridor with most in a side corridor it's a very enlightening history of medical practice in... More

Situated within the hospital complex, this museum has its own free car park and lots to look at. Be warned about the death masks, though, facing you as you enter, relics of long-dead executed prisoners. Look out for the leech in the jar in the home remedies cabinet.

Went here as a part day out for our anniversary, and it is quite an interesting museum of medical practices over the ages, medical/surgical equipment used, dressings, treatments etc, etc, and great if you have children as there is plenty of interactive stuff for them to get involved with, and here's the good news, it's FREE! We ended up making... More

This is a really well organised specialist Museum devoted to the history of Medicine up to early 20th Century. There are a series of display cabinets containing historical information about and implements used by various medical disciplines e.g surgery, nursing , G.P , research , medical ingredients ,etc . Contents are well laid out and everything has a detailed label... More

I was very disappointed with this Museum. I expected many wonders leading to modern medicine to be shown, especially as I was on the fringe involved with heart transplant surgery with Heenan and Froude's engineered and developed blood pump.[ They were based in Worcester. ]The only good part for me was to see some inter-active programmes for children.

This superb little museum is situated in the grounds of the Royal Worcestershire Hospital, about two miles from Worcetser city (on a bus route). It forms part of the Education Centre there. We visited as part of a small Family History group and had booked the time of the guide/curator, who gave us a very interesting and informative introduction (without... More
