We had two very interesting hours in this pottery museum which was on two floors, history going back to the 18 century.

Meter parking right outside. Nice clean toilets. And then of course there is the Worcester china. Plus we were lucky that there was an artist there painting pieces and talking us through the process etc. Lovely smell of aniseed oil too.

There are beautiful artefacts on display, unfortunately, the skill required to produce them has moved offshore to cheaper labour markets. I am not sure whether this is just a lesson in the cycle of industrial economics that we should accept, or lament. Last year we...More

What stunning items on display! Lots of history to see and listen to on the recorded guide. Some magnificent pieces hard to believe they are porcelain/china. Lovely staff on entry - very welcoming.

Is there any mention in the archives of Worcester Porcelain of a man who was a gilder Mr Fred Goodman? My cousin's wife Anne Oxley was his grandaughter. She has a very old photo of him at showing him at his trade and an article that he actually 'gilded'.
