Delightful location, with warm staff on both cafe and shop. Cafe very inviting, shop with a variety of unusual items, and museum galleries though small were excellently displayed in a traditional museum way. This is not the place for modern interactive displays. Impressive model of Telford's bridge pictured here. Well worth the visit.

The museum is a bit on the small side and got some glares off some of the staff. The galleries are worth checking out though.

This a charming restaurant with an unexpected amount of style. Good cooking and good value. It's enough to make the cafe the destination rather than the Museum.

The Gwynedd Museum & Art Gallery has recently moved and is now called Storiel. It is well worth a visit. The gallery is light and modern and has a shop and cafe. The staff are friendly and are Welsh speakers which is good. The museum is very interesting and I would suggest it is ideal for school children to visit.... More

I carried out some storage scheme work here just prior to it opening after it had been refurbished extensively and to a high standard. The Museum will be a fantastic new home for the collections and is very accessible for everyone with a lift for the less abled.

Visited this week as part of a group and really enjoyed it. The museum may be small but it is well laid out with plenty to see and the art exhibitions are complete joy. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the 'shop' area had some unusual cards and gifts for sale. The cafe was excellent - the food... More

I'd have only given 3 stars if it weren't for the delicious afternoon tea we enjoyed. The gallery needs more works on display. The Karel Lek exhibition was a little disappointing compared to similar I've seen before on Anglesey.

Found this small museum quite interesting, though I didn't find it absolutely clear what was supposed to be in each room or what the overall theme was. It's a local history museum and you'll get a good idea of local life over a long period of time. They have a very good cafe, with an outdoor area and a nearby... More
