Friendly Pub

Friendly service and good brew and cider. We started and ended our day here on a rainy day in April.

After a lovely walk in beautiful surroundings we were grateful to find a welcoming watering hole. Great shandy, friendly service and excellent pizza!

Nice pub mainly as its so friendly, very cheap and a pool table for kids. A good quick stop after some long walks. We didn't eat but plenty of choice. Two large TVs showing sport/music. Can't complain

An enjoyable evening of good food, decent wine and friendly staff. Not a budget option but not expensive either. Really enjoyed the pulled pork and beef weliington.

We stopped here for lunch before going to Bangor Races and we had a lovely meal. The mushrooms starter was delicious and the steak and ale pie was excellent. Lovely traditional pub.
