A great free visitor attraction with lovely views. The added bonus of a museum on site and toilet facilities. Information boards and display completed the castle ruin.

Very good clear historical data if Abergavenny with good artefact displays. Whilst the museum is free I do hope people make a contribution to help pay for upkeep

It was a well spent hour walking round the castle.... The museum had shut but still enjoyed the visit.

A lot of history in those walls, amazing views of the grounds and even the town. Museum has a replica of a bomb shelter and a little corner shop, worth a visit.

I didn't know there was a castle here and sadly didn't have time to check it out fully but there seemed to be a lot standing still and the grounds were great.

FREE! What a very very good place to goofball the family. Punic, children trail, lovely grounds and castle, xcellent maintenance, PLUS a brilliant museum, all FREE. An absolute must.
