We visited the canal whilst in the area and made the perilous walk across the aqueduct. Only joking, it isn't perilous but if you don't like heights, it may not be for you . It is very high and the views are fantastic all around....More

Had a lovely long weekend on the canal, Autumn is a great time to visit. Cooler but less crowded with boats. If you’re new to narrow boating then this stretch is ideal. No lock but easy reach to the aqueduct.

Took the trip over the aquaduct Lovely sedate cruise made all the better by the lovely weather Recommended for a relaxing Day out with lovely scenery and the aquaduct is a must see piece of engineering

The best place to park if you want to get to the canal in Llangollen is either the pay and display near the Llangollen Pavilion which is less than 10 minutes walk down the canal path to where the horses that tow the canal... More
