Due to being a hideous day weather wise, we only walked a short distance on the walls. Though they looked a little slippy in places, it was absolutely fine. The views from the walls were great. If you are able to handle the stairs to...More

Interesting walk on the old town walls. Steep in parts, but good points to stop and enjoy the views.

Living in York, we were interested to see the similarities of these walls to the ones around our city. They are beautifully kept and a lovely walk around them will reward you with views over the town. Stairs are involved so be careful in the...More

Amazing how much is left and in such good condition. A delight to walk around and realise how much time and work went into these town walls. It’s a must see!

Great experience.Spectacular views and photo opportunity. Perhaps not the thing to do on a wet and windy day as some of the sections of the wall are steep and slippy

Great views, and a pleasant way to easily get access the town. You get to see the views of Wales from every angle and also being able the town you see things you would definitely miss otherwise.

Wow ! This is an absolutely amazing free attraction ! Looking down on the buildings inside this lovely ancient walled town. Need to be able bodied though as you need to be able to climb stairs and the wall tops themselves are not smooth !...More

The walls are fantastic way to see Conwy from above. We live locally and whenever we go to Conwy, we love to walk around the walls. Clearly a massive challenge for anyone with mobility issues but well worth the visit. Whole walk takes around 20...More

It's great to have a walk on these beautiful old walls around Conwy. There's a different view around every corner and it really gives you a sense of the history of the place. A must when you're visiting this beautiful town.

The whole river side section is not walkable so that is a bit of a trek to get back on, but there are plenty of places to come down, usually at the gates. Get a map from the Tourist place before you start to plan ahead.

Didn't see any dogs up there. I imagine it would be quite tricky walking it in certain parts. Rails and narrow.
