The bridge at Llangollen was built across the Dee in the 16th century to replace a previous bridge built in about 1345. It gives beautiful views of the white water of the river Dee. As it sits right in the town you cannot miss it.

Lovely old stone built bridge with views up and down the river. The sight and sounds of the river make for a great experience with lovely scenery as a backdrop. The river was very fast flowing when we were there. Great photos.

This safe, sturdy bridge is ideal for automobile trafic and pedestrians. It provides a stress free way to cross the Dee River. A charming inclusion in town photographs. Perfectly situated for afternoon strolls, after dinner walks and business trips. * Remember to keep left...

This has been for me a welcome addition to the lovely sights in Wales. The cool breeze comong off the waters is refreshing and the eateries around. What else can one ask for.
