I would not call this an attraction. For me it was just a bridge which I could use to get easier from the train station to the center. But it is true that the bridge looks very nice and especially during the evening with the lights on. If you are in Holyhead it is very difficult to miss so why... More

The celtic bridge was built a few years ago to connect the Ferry Port to the town of Holyhead and that is what it does. Not what you would call a visitor attraction.

really enjoyed the bridge, crazy as it sounds but its very interesting if you are a photographer :D lots of points of view and some views over the bridge if you don't mind holding your camera up and shooting what you can't see.

The storyboards in the archway in the street at the beginning of the bridge shed light on this contemporary structure. The use of words from a local Welsh poet and mosaics remind visitors of the Celtic connection. The boat imagery, linked to the ancient Celtic belief that the sun would disappear in a boat each evening, is well represented in... More

It looks scruffy and Dirty It could do with a good clean up. Although the toilet were clean in the Ferry Terminal. The Train Station is run down.

Wandered across this bridge to walk off our fish and chips bought from the centre. Could do with a bit of a clean up as not very attractive walking up the steps crossing from the high street into the train station. A bit of a nothing, but could make the bridge, train station and the town centre more of an... More

I know its supposed to bring people into the town from the ferry terminal and there are 24 cruise ships calling this year but really there is nothing in the town to do/see and all the retailers are out of town. Pity

After I took the pictures of this odd insert into a traditional Welsh village setting, I just had to walk it. After all, it's there, and it calls to you, and it links the railroad station with the town. As if by magic, you cross over!

I walked this a few times since I have been in Holyhead over the festive period, How ever you sugar coat it the bridge is a £6 million pound short cut between the train station and town
