A nice little return trip for about an hour with great views of the lake, although the hard wooden benches in the carriages are not built for comfort.

I went to this railway during a visit to Llanberis, as part of a group. The return trip takes around one hour and gives excellent views of the lake and mountains, recommended.

We visited with our three year old and it was just the right length of time for him to sit and enjoy. He loved the fact that the train was a little mini steam train with wooden carriages (and so did I)! The views of...More

Very disappointing experience. you sit in a cramped compartment looking at the lake, go forward for like 20 mins and come back the same way, its much more worthwhile to rather walk in the same direction for an hour to take im the view.

The mountain railway was closed because of bad weather so we took this trip instead. Nice as a diversion.

We took this ride as we very unable to get tickets to the Snowdon mountain train - it was sold out. The time could have been spent better by simply going for a walk by the lake - and could have saved us what appears...More

The train was crowded with people as the Snowdonia peak railway not running due to weather. It NOT a real train, just a mini mine engine with tiny wooden carriages that goes only a couple of miles beside one lake with views no better than...More

Hello! I am very very familiar with this business! So it's a journey along the side of the lake, not around it! It depends where you get on so if you get on in the village, it travels all the way to the end without stopping... More
