A refuelling stop

Simple food designed for the masses but OK for those exhausted after taking exercise. Chips with most things; most of which were apparently cooked from frozen.

spent a rainy day here with a large family group...everyone had a great time, esp on the flume...the kids were up & down it for hours! the main swimming pool is large with plenty of space if you fancy doing a few lengths!

Having read some of the reviews, was a bit wary of visiting, but it seemed perfectly OK. Reception staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. Changing rooms were in good order.

This place was a disgrace - took the children swimming during a trip to Brecon and was very disappointed. Pool was ok but the changing rooms were a disgrace - they were dirty and the showers didn't work properly. Went to have a snack in cafe and bar area and that was closed! Won't be wasting our money going there... More

Rang Brecon leisure centre a few days ago to book some bowling alleys, was talking to a youngish girl, that didn't really seem to care if we booked them or not, she told me that I would need a booking form if I wanted to book more than one alley, so I gave her my email address, and waited... Brecon leisure centre has a large and small children's pool within it. During the holidays there are lots of activities provided for the children. You have beautiful views from the grass area outside.

Like the pool - both large one for lengths and deep end (3m) for underwater. Kids pool just to one side with flume which does open on occassions - check time. 10 pin bowling a little gloomy, but works fine. Restaurant clean, good coffee and good value. a range of classes and activities (indoor and out).
