A beautiful and peaceful setting for as long or short a walk as you wish. Plenty of places to sit and contemplate on route with quaint bridges, stunning scenery and everyone is so friendly. There is plenty of historical information provided along the way.

May I say that the walk from Gilwern across to Crickhowell is one of the best canal walks you can dream of, also I’ve walked from pencelli into Brecon and that was lovely and interesting in the lovely summer months.

Brilliant weekend, the staff at Redline boats extremely helpful, especially Hannah. Canal very picturesque but a bit shallow in many places. Not a lot of B&B available. Very affable anglers around.
