I recently had my wedding at the Museum and I can honestly say it was the most disappointing day of my life. My husband and I had been planning the wedding for over a year and wanted an elegant event. One of the key elements for us was the wedding breakfast and as we were not keen on any of... More

My little girl had a blast here she loves all things dinosaur related so the display was the reason for the visit but there was so much more. The kids room was fab with the big magifying glass she had a ball exploring and keeps telling me about lava and rocks! Well worth a visit, it's changed my views on... More

Wasn't in our plan to visit but not a good day. Well worth a couple of hours. Dinosaurs exhibitions were my highlights - my wife enjoyed the art. No pressure from any staff - enjoyed the day

I went in to have a look and was surprise by the amount of things they have to see and do. Do not miss one of the volunteer guide tours and the best Impressionist collection I have seen outside of France! Free entrance.

It is a welcoming place, very clean and tidy and there are fantastic exhibitions on display. My son (11) enjoyed it a lot. He liked all the animals, plants insects and dinosaurs. It was a great family activity.

I literally cannot count the times I have visited here and I never get fed up of it. My children have always enjoyed it here as there is so much to see and do, and it's free! Great place if you love art or nature. You can park quite close. Park to sit in across the road from it. Plenty... More

Free of charge, a beautiful building. Fantastic art collection presented in a coherent and interesting way. The exhibition on the history of the earth from Big Bang to the introduction of humankind was fascinating and so very informative with something for all ages. There is also a brilliant hands-on discovery area for youngsters.

The main reason for visiting the museum was to see the Celtic artefacts, such as the Llyn Y Fan Fach cauldron, the gold torcs etc, but all of these wondrous Welsh treasures have been boxed and stored for years. Instead the museum is one big playground for children, focussing on Natural History with lots of plastic models. The art gallery... More
