We arrived around 9m on a Monday and less than half the market was open. There was the usual produce, butcher, and other foods stalls. There were other odds and ends and upstairs was a huge record and CD store. Cool place to look around...More

Cardiff Market doesn't make any attempt to promote itself, and looks very unappealing from the outside. However, it's worth a visit if you are looking to try some interesting foods in Cardiff. There is a good fishmongers, several greengrocer stalls, and it's a good place...More

The Cardiff market was as indoor markets go, with lots of different stalls and vendors selling wares that ranged from raw seafood to sewing kits. We however found it just a little underwhelming and boring- not touristy at all.

The place to get different to normal fayre in the city centre, plenty of stalls and don't forget there is an upstairs too. Unfortunately the toilets have had to be closed. From fish to cheese there's plenty of food options.

This gotta be one of the best indoor Markets in the country. It has dozens and dozens of stalls on two floors selling almost anything you might need. Lots of butchers selling fresh meat. The fish stall needs no guidance. The pet shops are smaller...More

Oh what a lovely market! There are butchers, fishmongers, greengrocers, cafes, cake stalls, chilli and spice stalls, pet shops, aquariums, music stalls ... you name it, itโ€™s here! A really interesting way to spend an hour ๐Ÿ˜Ž
