This is a building not to be missed! The history attached is remarkable, the short film shown is to the point giving all pertinent facts and NOT boring. The tiles on walls are truly magnificent.

Bay port is one of the favorite places among tourists and locals. It is difficult to miss the red brick Pierhead building if you stroll along the bay.

The whole area around the Pierhead has been very well developed and is well worth a visit. There are plenty of eateries and a good ice cream parlour. You can take boat trips around the bay etc.

Free to get in. Amazing Victorian architecture and decoration inside and out. A video about the history of the building and Cardiff Bay is played every 20 minutes in the main hall and is well worth watching.
