Friday 3rd August, a wonderful sunny summer's day, we were out and about sightseeing in Cardiff. We took a brief stoll along the banks of the River Taff along Millennium Walk, staring from Cardiff Bridge. The river was shimmering in the sun light as it...More

The river was clear and bubbly and the boats and yachts and barges were as fascinating as their occupants. Great way to spend the day mucking about on the river

We love to potter along the Taff Trail next to the river. You can go for miles. We like the weir and taking the aqua bus to Cardiff Bay. Peaceful and relaxing.

As a family we walked a section of the trail yesterday and it was fantastic. The pathways are concrete, which was fantastic as we were walking with a pram. We started at Hailey Park, Llandaff North and walked to Bute Park, and back. Plenty to...More

Lots to see and do along this river, linking to other nearby activities within the capital. Generally clean and tidy. Nice walks on a sunny evening in June.

Have taken water taxi from but park near the castle to the bay but it's very engaging, it's a bit depressing seeing all the plastic bottles in the catchers and overgrown banks catching litter too. Far better is to cycle inland. Picking up the taff...More

I liked getting the water bus from the bay to Bute park. We also enjoyed walking and cycling along it. It didn’t strike me as the prettiest of rivers and I thought it was a little dirty in places. That said, the river is the...More

There is so much to see on the River, lots of boats trips as well. Lovely wetlands area just down the road in the Bay. Loads of Wildlife all along the river.

I have walked several of its sections from up in the brecan beacons as well as the city centre and where it flows into Cardiff Bay. Once choked with coal dust it is now crystal clear and a haven for wildlife.

Hi Sheila, the Millennium Stadium is almost right next to Cardiff Central railway station to the west. You should see it as you come into Cardiff station and it is well sign-posted from the station.
