This is a very unusual site in Cardiff Bay that became famous as the secret entrance to Torchwood in the BBC television series of this name. Although less well known around the world than its parent series Doctor Who, it has so far run for...More

One of the ugliest things in Cardiff, if not Wales. An absolute garbage fire. How this qualifies as a tourist attraction is utterly beyond me. Cardiff council should torch the wood (ahem) around it to raise this to the ground. An abomination. People need to...More

Not immediately obvious, you have to go down a level to the decking on the see front. If you want to find something authentic, original and of local interest then this is it.

Every time I’m in Cardiff Bay I have to visit Ianto’s shrine. Torchwood so so different from Dr Who. Ianto, Tosh and Owen cruelly cut down. Maybe they should have shrines as well. So if you love Dr Who and Torchwood this one stop you...More

It is a special spot where people pay their respects to Ianto who was a character on the tv show Torchwood. Please be respectful.

Found the shrine and was quite amused by the number of cards and messages left by visitor. Quite Cute.

I saw this on google maps while staying on the area and had to pop for a look, it's so random that it's funny! I used to watch Torchwood but never imagined that people would go this far for a TV character, it's brilliantly cringe!!

It's been a while since Torchwood was on the television. Visitors to Cardiff Bay may be a bit perplexed over this.

This is a shrine remembering the Character Ianto Jones, who died saving Earth in the programme Torchwood. This location is shown in the TV series to be the home of Torchwood 2, and was a little information kiosk that has a secret door to the...More
