We are lucky to live not far from this park, so can visit regularly. It is a large park with plenty of room for families, sports, dog walkers and even a miniature train (well worth a visit when its open). Great place to take children...More

Had fun here but it’s in a poor state! Two flags missing, greens extremely bobbly, no scorecards or pencils and man manning the kiosk left before we finished so had to leave clubs and balls outside the kiosk!!

A large green space to unwind with a walk. One side is sports whilst the other is wooded. Spent many an hour here playing cricket during summer months. This is what is left of the Great Heath.

Went here to use the railway run by volunteers. Though it was absolutely heaving we still had a great time travelling on and watching the trains. A shame the trains don' run more frequently!

Great for young children. Several outdoor train and tram rides. A garden railway and large indoor oo gauge railway not to be missed. Disabled access greatly improved in recent months and plenty of seating and catering outlets which have maintained a 5 star rating. Open...More
