I love this place. I didn't know what to drink and asked for advice. The bar man suggested the perfect beer for both myself and my partner who have very different tastes. Would recommend to any beer lover.

Hard to find shop/bar. Told about the place by a local. Shop like, basic surroundings but a breath of fresh air! Nice selection of Welsh ales served straight from the barrel (hence the name). Well worth finding.

I'd have never found this place but was taken here by some friends. This is a real ale drinkers paradise. The decor is best described as basic, but the beer is what it's about and it's well kept and served by knowledgeable staff. Enough said.

Hidden behind all the bright lights of St. David's you'll find the gravity station. It almost belongs nearer west gate street with the other trendy craft beer venues around the brewery quarter. It's worth a look though we only stayed for one.

Lovely little escape for beer fans. If you enjoy your less mainstrean beers place to visit. Simple layout gives you nice environment to chat. Good to have somewhere free of fruit machines and big screen tvs.

Forget this being on the nightlife part of TA this is a funky little bottle shop that sells a few beers behind the counter. It's great for a quiet half or a couple of hours tasting. Beer lovers will appreciate it's tiny charm. All the...More

We started here an ale trail around Cardiff. To be honest it's a very small room with limited seating and very expensive, £3 for a bottle of beer to take out or £5 to drink the same bottle in. Done cool beers and cool taps...More

2015-09-17. It is a nice little shop with a decent selection of bottles and a few draft and cask options. Selection was good but not amazing. It was pretty quiet while I was there late afternoon with I think only one other customer besides me....More
