There's not a great deal of this castle left, a couple of walls perched on a hillside, but they do represent an important landmark in Welsh history. The information board at the road side explains what went on here and how and why the place...More

We live in Loughor. The castle has been neglected for centuries and only one tower now remains. It's a sorry sight of a once great fort protecting the estuary. Worth a quick stop if you want to say that you've been there.

The castle is situated next to a main road and is accessible by foot. It has an interesting history but is not particularly well maintained.

Its free and unrestricted. Very small, not much to see really. A pity somebody didn't buy it and restore it. It could do with an information board.
