Went by bus from 3 peaks camp site, very easy & simple. The bay is absolutely gorgeous with sand dunes to explore &s a vast reach of sand to walk on, nearby is Oxwich castle which is also well worth a visit, I walked but it has an ample car park. Nearby is a cafe come shop that sold delicious... More

Oxwich Bay, Gower 'Coup D'oeil' Bluster-bussed but best- blessed by stonking sunshine's infinite effulgence, let us wend our sanguine way around this crescent coast. Enamoured with nature's numinous splendour, ease past viridescent grass and lush gorse's endless inflorescence. Scamper up the spectacular, perpendicular scarp o'er myriad, dappled steps. Clamber along catawampus paths, toward lambent moksha. Meander in wonder, betwixt bewitching,... More

This is a great beach to spend the day on, it's a lovely secluded spot and the beach is big enough for you to be able to find a quiet spot for yourself. You can also go across to the Oxwich Bay Hotel for a lovely meal for lunch or Dinner.

A fine stretch of beach but with few facilities. The hotel caters for weddings, a perfect setting, but for a casual visit is quite expensive

Celebrated my 80th birthday in January at the Oxwich Bay Hotel.with 50 of my friends It is a spectacular venue with fabulous panoramic views of the bay. The cuisine and accommodation is 5star quality at the hotel and I will, without any doubt return time and time again to this wonderful hotel with its superb location.

Yet again another load of fancied up basic food so they can charge a fortune for it. There's no where to go anymore with my elderly parents to get a nice meal at a price they can reasonably afford I say with reason because I call 16 quid for fish and chips unreasonable! I'd rather pay £4 for the car... More

The beach at Oxwich is amazing...wide, wide, wide and quite deep. A great place to take the kids. We were there in September and while it was a bit cool, there were still many people enjoying the water and tossing the ball with their dogs. Beautiful place to relax.

An exclllent safe sandy beach but no lifeguards. A private car park adjoins the beach and there is a bus stop nearby. Due to its easily accessible location it can get busy in the summer.

My partner and I paid a visit on misty February day and walked a couple of miles out and back along the beach, what a stunning place and so peaceful. I am sure summer time this must be a great place for families. Worth walking up to the church by the beach whilst here. Its a shame these days that... More

I have been brought up with holidays in Swansea and surrounding beaches so Oxwich is much loved by myself and my family for its beautiful long sandy beach and playful dunes and the woods that surround this golden beach. But this time I arrive with our 3 big puppy dogs...what a playground. At this time of year we are able... More
