Home town beach.

Home town beach what more is to say... Cold in the winter but nice in the summer walking on the promenade with a Joe's ice cream...

Sipping tea and watching the beach on a rainy morning is an unforgettable experience. These shores have many tales to tell.

Beautiful, well maintained beach at a shallow sea with miles of sand to seaward and a comfortable walking/cycle paths elevated to landward. Walks are fantastic and beach ideal for children and families. Sunbathing and swimming in the summer, walking for the other seasons.

We walk the beach quite often as we live near. Mumbles is in plain view and the further coast of Industrial Port Talbot far enough away to blur into the distance. It's a nice walk, a sweeping bay , but a bit less in comparison with the many of Gowers beaches. Dog walkers welcome at certain times and parts available... More

A lovely long stretch of golden sand, well kept and a delight to walk on even when the tide is in. Bracing when the weather is not so good!!

We spent an afternoon on the beach with my cousin and her dogs and it was fabulous. After walking along the sandy beach we stopped into the beach café for a drink and an ice cream and enjoyed watching the people walk by and the waves crash in. There were even people riding horses along the beach while we were... More

This is a nice beach but be careful not to go to far out into the water. You'll end up sinking down into some black ooze. It cover you in black slush and it doesn't come off easy. Great for picnics or just playing games.

Long walks on the beach or paved path, or bike it, its incredibly beautiful and relaxing here. when the tide is out, you can walk for miles on the seabed, pick up seashells or just find a cozy spot to sit and rest. There are many places for coffee, food and hanging out. This area is a gem.

Many happy days spent on Swansea bay with an expanse of sand from Swansea marina to mumbles which is roughly three miles.the tide goes out a long long way and as children we used to call the wet sand grannies custard because your feet just sink into it.there are san dunes at the guildhall and Marriott hotel end ,and a... Our first chance to really look at the beach after 3 visits to the area. Coming from Cornwall where we are spoilt for beaches, I didn't have my expectations set very high. I was however pleasantly surprised. Putting the distant view of Port Talbot to the back of ones mind, we walked from the university up to Junction Café. The... More
