Excellent carvery this afternoon at the black horse. Friendly and efficient table service, great selection of fresh vegetables available and they even made kids size Yorkshire puddings to go with the children’s meals
Two of us went on Bank Holiday Monday. The staff were slow and appeared not to know what they were doing. The food, we both had steaks, was cold and basically tasteless. The steak was extremely small and chewy and very much overpriced. Swerved on...More
An impromptu night out with the family. Excellent meals, (my nephew throughly enjoyed his cajun burger, even if he could not finish it), great service, good prices and nice to have a welsh speaking staff member. I would highly recommend the pub.
We went just before Christmas having pre booked a table together with our menu choices. The table wasnt ready at the booked time. We then sat down late nd waited at least half an hour for the starter. We then had another half hour wait...More
Had food a few times here they used to have a special menu with lovely options on there but today I went and it was a basic brains menu which really disappointed me.
Staff were lovely.
