This is one the most traditional music pubs in Belfast. Bar on the ground floor with music and at least at on week-ends there is a bar on first floor also with traditional music. This is a must in Belfast. Check out their home page or Facebook.

Very small neighborhood pub that features traditional Irish music . Inner city location that shows years of use does not distract from the music. Locals were very accepting of tourists as we listened to the music. You should stop in when your in Belfast

Maddens is a quaint bar with lots of character. One thing I have to say live music does NOT need sound system. It's a small bar, bout the size of my living room. I love live music but not that loud. Any musician could be heard above the chat. Great place to visit.

Excellent traditional storytelling, line dancing and Irish ballads. Loved it! The best pub experience these past two weeks covering most of the Irish Republic and Northern Ireland.

Nice old pub with good trad music. A bit rough round the edges and the toilets are pretty smelly, but we made plenty of friends and had a great night.

This place was amazing, if you haven't experienced live Irish music you haven't really experienced Ireland at its best. We had an amazing night, I would definitely recommend this place if your visiting Belfast. The musicians were very talented
