We stumbled on this on our first day in Belfast. It is a great photo opportunity and learning more about it during our visit, it has been placed to celebrate the return of the Salmon to the river. Very nice piece of art which the people of Belfast seem to be proud of.

It took us by surprise when we came upon this fish, but I have to say when the sun is shinning it's a wonderful place to spend time.

This is presented a piece of art. it looks like they had some money to spend at the end of the year to ensure that they spent their budget. What does it mean? Does it symbolise a fish market? i don't think so, Does it remind us that Belfast was once a great centre for fishing boats? no. It means... More

This is situated on Donegall Quay east of the city centre. Worth a look at and a few photos but it will only be worth a visit a part of a much longer walk around the city.

It is odd to see a large blue fish on a pavement, but on closer inspection it is made up of tiny tiles with writing on each tile, quite fascinating.

Good city centre reference point to meet people at. The fish is approx 15 mins walk from Titanic Museum and 10 mins walk from main shopping malls.

This is literally just a statue of a big fish, enjoyable enough to see if you walk past but not a must visit in Belfast by any means.

It's a brilliant wee fish. Just feel it's an awful shame that no one decided to build a portion of chips next to it. That would have been awesome.

Great for photos - unfortunately while we were there a couple of cyclists spoiled the view by insisting on parking their cycles against the fish.
