I visited this Church recently and was impressed by the architecture, see photos. I lit a candle for my Grandfather who had been baptised in this Church. It is a lovely haven in central Belfast to visit and look around. The history surrounding the Church is detailed within the building too.

I have not often been in a Catholic church, but friends suggested I should come along. I was very impressed with what I saw. I thought it was bigger than I expected. I thought there would only be one place to light candles, but there were several. The ceiling was lovely, very clean and white compared to the church I attend. Saint Malachy's is free to enter, and well worth a visit.

St Malchy's was one of the most beautiful churches I've been to. It felt so holy and sacred inside. I wish we could have went to mass there!

This church is well worth a quick visit if you are passing. It's very central and will only take a few minutes. The roof inside is spectacular and the whole church quite an unusual design.

Came over for a Christening here. Was most impressed by the really interesting architecture. The church is wide rather than deep. and has an amazing brightness which really makes it special. Very different!

Nothing to dislike here, unusually shaped inside, stunning ceiling, very warm & welcoming parishoners.

This beautiful church was designed by Thomas Jackson who is an ancestor of mine so I suppose I might be biased! But I was so glad to find it open on a recent brief visit to Belfast. It was a quiet and peaceful place to sit and contemplate, and to appreciate not just the legacy of the past, but also the present generation's ongoing care and restoration of this lovely building.

Small catholic church in the markets area of the city. In the church you will find a statue of the 'ragged saint'. Traditionally local people would leave a few pennies in the box beneath the ragged saint and pray to always have enough money to feed their families during hard times.

Very peaceful and spacious. Maybe suitable for a 15/30 min visit.
A good opportunity to sit and reflect.
As ever very clean . No other visitors or parishioners whilst we were there

I would like to know if it is possible to bring a group of Probus members (retired from the professions or from business) to have a guided tour of St Malachy's.
