However the sound was pretty dismal and when both she and her support act spoke to the audience, between songs, I'm... More

I live in Belfast and it took me 6 years before I went to my first gig. That was a wasted 6 years. I now constantly keep an eye out for all gigs coming, and will go see some performers, simply because they are in the Ulster Hall.

Anyone who loves music and comes from the Belfast area must have lots of memories of seeing their favourite bands perform here over the years. I have seen bands like Thin Lizzy, The Ramones, Horslips, The Clash here over the years. I am currently enjoying The Ulster Orchestra's 2017 season 'The great symphonies' here. Fantastic music making for such reasonable... More

Very well organised, and controlled and very safe. Became extremely hot though and could do with extra ventilation.

We were visiting Belfast and saw the Saw Doctors here. Great venue and friendly staff. Ample toilet facilities and for a crowd of people, this is important! Taking time from the music to look around the building's architecture (just look at the ceiling) is wonderful. Great gem.

What an amazing talented bunch of singers and musicians Johnston's singing and song writing was on a power with Ed Sheeran

I hadn't been to a concert in the Ulster Hall. Great night, staff very friendly and helpful. Good bar service and the concert itself was well organised with good sound and view.

In January we attended the James Vincent McMorrow concert. I had never been to the Ulster hall before and I really enjoyed it. We sat two rows from the back on the left hand-side, and the view was great. It's such a small venue that I don't think there is a bad seat in the house! The one negative that... More
